The Map View displays the results from any queries run as well as demographic and location information. The key to the map view is that it allows users to quickly and easily identify trends and patterns as well as intuitively drill down deeper into the underlying data. The ability to drill down is mouse driven as opposed to keyboard, with the user simply using the toolbar to identify key data points or to zoom into specific areas of interest. This provides a much more user friendly method for querying large databases and opens up greater opportunities across the enterprise for people to better understand how the business is operating, as opposed to a select number of BI or IT professionals.
